Opinions please

I booked a guaranteed balcony on the Pride yesterday, this morning for the same price I can choose a cabin. I'm not overly concerned about our location, just happy to be walking onto the ship. What would you do? Just leave as is or deal with customer service (which it seems can be quite frustrating)?

If location is even a bit of a concern, I would definitely choose my room. You don't want to be stuck in a noisy location if you can help it. For the same price, I say go for it.

Definitely choose your cabin if you can...a guarantee can put you anywhere...over or under a noisy area. We like the cabins more toward aft on Spirit class ships...very convenient to hop on the aft elevators up to Lido buffet or down to the Dining Room. If you spend a lot of time in the casinos or the shows, you might want to be more forward.

Most definitely choose your room! Worth the trouble of a phone call or two, imo:)
