Car Rental at Pan Am Pier?

Is there a car rental return at the Pan Am port in San Juan? Which company?

I do not remember seeing one.

My wife could not find one before we left for on our trip and we saw no evidence of any when we were at the Princess terminal. In fact, there does not appear to be any car rental shuttles that pick up at the Pan Am pier either.

 

The closest we could find was an Avis located in the Condado resort area. We had to take a taxi from the pier to the Avis location. If you plan on this, I highly recommend that you make a reservation. When we got to the office, there were two people ahead of me wanting to rent a car but were turned away due to lack of vehicles. Hearing this made me nervous but I gave them our reservation number and they had the car waiting for us so that all worked out fine.

Charlie's Rental Car has a shuttle to/from their Condado office.
