St Thomas has some nice beaches that are free, just need to take a taxi to get to them which is typically $18 roundtrip per person. We like Coki and Sapphire for snorkeling but there are others a little closer for just wading.

If you're docked in Havensight there is alot of shopping right there.

St Thomas is famous for duty free shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie, you can walk there and enjoy shopping while also seeing the historic architecture. There is also a historic section before the shopping area.

Paradise Point is a spot with a restaurant/bar that overlooks the harbor, great place to relax with a cold one and enjoy the view of the ships and harbor. there is a Skyride or tram that takes you up and down, you can buy tram tickets through your excursions desk on the ship slightly cheaper than on the island. The tran is a 10 minute walk from the Havensight dock. You can also taxi to the top if you want.

The Butterfly Farm and Bird Show are also right in Havensight, you can google that.
