Rum factory location??

We would like to visit the Tortuga rum factory after our excursion. Seems like there will be enough time but is it too far to walk from where the tender is? If so, what would be the best way to get there?

The Tortuga rum factories aren't what you might think, the main one near the airport makes the rum cakes, they have outlets scattered around with a couple in Georgetown, you can sample the cakes and some offer samples of their rum.

I would say yes that it is too far to walk, but it would probably be an expensive and short taxi ride. It is more or less a store where the cakes are made. Free samples of rum and cake may make it worth it.

There is a Seven Fathoms Rum Distillery that is within walking distance.

Seven Fathoms isn't anything special, it's at Hammerheads restaurant, we did it a couple years ago, luckily someone was there.. We sampled the rum and it's over.
