Pack & Go special

I see Carnival is running a Pack & Go special right now. It would mean a $260 OBC for two people (in the same cabin) in our group, but they would have to give up their cabin and go GTY. May be a good deal for those that don't mind GTY!

If you purchased ES originally, you don't have to give up your cabin for GTY do you?

From my understanding, if the new promotion doesn't have a check under the "you pick your cabin" column, it means it is GTY. With that being the case, in order to get the OBC, you would have to switch from your current cabin to the GTY option. If this is not the case, can someone please shed some light on this quickly!

I am trying to decide keep my PT M-11 on Paradise at 808 or put in for another OBC either IS GTY at 698 or OV GTY for 758 We have never had a PT room and I am a little concerned with the motion..

 

Help me decide !!! LOL ( we really don't care where we are on the ship as long as its a king bed )

Carnival's Policy is that you HAVE to give up your ES assigned cabin for a TBD Guarantee Cabin. Some posters have reported they were able to hold on to their assigned cabin, some have reported that they HAD to give theirs up. ken

The response to my price protection form, submitted this morning, says that I must give up the assigned cabin and go GTY. fine with me, our assigned cabin is the lowest of the low in our category :)

I am wondering if I did the IS if we could wind up with a 1A right now we have a PT and will not take a bunk LOL

 

still debating we actually can get another $50 in OBC and a OV but ... do I want to give up the PT on main ugggg this is hurting my brain and now our friends that canceled are doing one in October for 179pp and I want to go again LOL decisions decisions !
