The article states:

"Out of the 15,000 people who died in the 18 accidents, only 17.8% of the women survived compared with 34.5% of the men."

 

I thought the survival rate of the 15,000 people who died was zero.

 

Good catch! Isn't it amazing how statistics can be manipulated to prove a hypothesis? :rolleyes:
