SCOOTER use. Can I get scooter on shuttle from ship?

Using a scooter this cruise and worried I won't be able to use it at Progreso? Any scooter users have an answer? Thanks!:)

The problem might be getting the scooter off the ship and into Progreso. Once in Progreso, you can scoot along the beachfront street with no worries. Also keep in mind that wheelchair and scooter access is not a given here. They are trying, but not completely there yet.

That's what I'm worried about. I emailed AutoProgreso as they operate the shuttles but they never replied. But from looking at their website it looks like the buses they use have ample storage space beneath the seating area so I don't think it's going to be an issue.
