NE mom Posted April 20, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 20, 2012 Does any one know how big the strollers you can get from camp carnival are? My 6 yr old has immune deficiency and his legs get tired very easily. We are going to Key West and will be walking the whole time. We have a uppa baby umbrella stroller and it is big enough for him to be comfortable. He is 49 lbs and I don't want to carry him in the heat. Really hate to take ours for just 1 day though. mikesteg Posted April 20, 2012 #2 Share Posted April 20, 2012 I don't believe you can get a stroller from Camp any longer, but I don't think I'd trust a random commercial stroller in your situation anyway. Also, you are on a 6-day or 8-day cruise on a huge ship (not to mention the other ports). It seems like the stroller would come in handy all week long. You also could be waiting in line to board (or disembark) for quite a long time. I would bring him the stroller than works well for him. That said, you could try specialneeds@carnival.com to see if they can help with a stroller or any other unique needs you might have.
scrap4girls Posted April 27, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2012 Funny I just called today to ask what kind of stroller they rent. They are simple umbrella strollers with a shade cover. Since your son is older I would bring my own. The previous post is correct about the lines. There are usually long lines to get on and off the ship.
