We were booked on the Spirit to cruise the Mexican Riveria cruise last year and our cruise was cancelled and made into a Hawaiian cruise. When we called and asked why they said the Hawiaan cruise was more popular and would get more bookings. We were pretty upset as we had been booked on the Splendor and had our cruise cancelled due to the fire.

Individual cruises havent been cancelled, but certain itineraries have been cancelled/pulled due to lack of bookings...e.g Europe a couple of years ago and 7 day cruises out of Jax.

Not do to lack of bookings. But we have had a cruise cancelled - "out of the blue" - because after we booked it was chartered by a group :cool:

 

It was the Liberty - for a March 2004 sailing. We booked about 8 months out - it was a graduation from college gift for my son. We already had air and hotel booked when they cancelled our booking about 3 months later. :eek:
