beckers Posted April 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2005 Is St. Petersburg the only port where a visa is needed for independent touring out of ports visiting Copenhagen, Tallin, Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki. Thanks, Becky
Phoenix cruiser Posted April 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2005 If you are a US citizen the answer is that you don't need a Visa other than St. Petersburg.

PacificCruiser Posted May 19, 2005 #7 Share Posted May 19, 2005 What if you are not a US citizen? But a citizen of the EU The visa form is simpler for the Russian visa but it is still required for independent exploration. The other ports do not require a visa from holders of EU member passports
Carol212 Posted May 22, 2005 #8 Share Posted May 22, 2005 Can you explain this to me. Does this mean that if we want to get off the ship in St Pete to explore on our own we need to have a Visa. If we book a tour through the cruise line or book a private tour then do we still need it. Also, since I am not sure of my plans yet in St. Pete where do you get the visa issued. Sorry for all the questions, but I am totally confused at this point:o
