lannp Posted April 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 29, 2005 Not sure how the email works. I can use their Internet stations for a fee and do email, etc. I can use the set-up via my TV and keyboard in my cabin at $1.50 per message. How does that work? Is it mail to the e-mail address they supplied me that has my name attached? Do I then send my messages through that meaning I would need a list of my email address since I wouldn't be accessing my regular account and wouldn't have access to my address book? I would appreciate your explanation. Thanks.
mufi Posted April 29, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 29, 2005 If you do a forum search "qm2 e mail" you will find an excellent post by J Cruise that covers this query. David.

Chuck & Phyllis Posted April 30, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Email from your cabin is great. We used it to keep in touch with our son. Simply navigate your way to email with the keyboard and the interactive TV in your cabin, Type out your email to whom you want to communicate with and send. That person simply reply's and the correspondence begins back and forth. It is $1.50 in and out no matter how long or how much time you take to write. If someone wants to send you an email, give them your onboard email address supplied by Cunard prior to your cruise. The system is terrific! No expensive calls back home. The total of about $15.00 in email charges we incurred was by far so much cheaper than calling home and you don't have to be in port to communicate. What could be better? ENJOY!
