Another Chef Table ?

I searched other threads but did not see this addressed, if I missed it I apologize.

 

Do you have to add gratuity to the cost of the Chef's Table? Is it included in the price?

Gratuity is included, but many people chose to add more.

We added $20 for the both of us, the person next to me did $20pp.

 

We were pretty astounded by the level of service. A bar waitress, 4 sous chefs, plus the chef in the room the whole time, serving all the courses so everyone got food set in front of them at the same time. The bar waitress never let a wine glass get below 1/4 full (it took slightly longer to get a soda refill- I had to *gasp* ask once.)

The basic gratuity is included, so you're not obligated to leave any more than that; however, some people feel the service is worth a little extra. As with all of those "extra" tips, anything at all is appreciated, some do $10 extra, some $40 -- it really is personal preference. I've budgeted an extra $30-40 tip for our Chef's Table booking and we'll see how it goes.

The basic is included, at the end of your meal, they give you a slip to sign where you can also add additional gratuity. It was so worth the extra. Definitely the highlight of my trip

I agree with what everyone said-we tip $10-15 PP extra and definitely the highlight of our cruises-done it 3 times and plan on the next 2 also.
