Ask your Steward when you get to the room. Sometimes they do, sometimes they do not.

You can ask your cabin steward or the Hotel Director once boarding and ask. Last year for our annual girls cruise I posted John Heald a message on his FB page about a week before sailing. Door between balconies was open when we boarded and stayed open entire cruise. Just remember he's really busy and doesn't always get to every request.
