Love beach in Nassau??

We are cruising on the Glory on 5/14/05. We will be in Nassau on 5/15 for a half day. I recently read that there is a nice beach called Love beach. Just wanted to know how far from the Port is it & does it offer decent snorkeling? Would love to here some pro's & con's from anyone who has been there. Thank you!!!!
