This is our favorite table for a daylight dinner

The "inside" main dining room is Aqua. We found it very bright and cheery.

 

It is a little tricky to get to...with the entrance between elevator doors.

The newbie on the Star is advised to look carefully at the deck plans of 6, to see that it doesn't go the full length of the ship.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The next batch will be the public areas and the Specialty Restaurants.

The Blue Lagoon and Moderno occupy either side of the open Atrium on Deck 8

 

 

Moderno is in place and up and running

If you have been on Jewel-class ships, you look down into the Bar City area and see Le Bistro. On the Star, in that spot, you will find La Cuchina

Le Bistro is located where the Champagne Bar / Martini Bar is on the Jewel-class ships

Sushi and Asian are just above. Teppanyaki is around the bend inside the Asian Restaurant

The Casino and the Theater fill the Forward part of Deck 6, with second tier Theater seating on Deck 7

 

The Casino was a pretty good size with lots of options.

The Spinnaker is now Deck 7 Aft. It really isn't a "Spinnaker-style" Lounge anymore.

 

It's more of a Bliss, without bowling or beds. :rolleyes:

The Red Lion Pub was a hopping place at all hours of the night.

Karaoke and sports TV made it a nice hangout.

Nice Photos Computerworks! You are an excellent photographer, as your pictures are even nicer than seeing it in person! Not to mention, you must get up pretty darned early in the morning to have all the rooms to yourself!! Didn't see one person in any of those dining rooms or decks! I look forward to reading your review. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family on this cruise. We really enjoyed our first NCL cruise, and are looking forward to the next on the Gem.

Yup, you have to get up pre-dawn to take pictures without people. :o

 

Although, on a CTN, pretty much everyone is sleeping in.
