Adventure of the seas - nov 2011 to april 2012

Recommended Posts

Over the last six months, we have become good friends with Jorgen and Juan, the 2 gentlemen who have sailed with the Adventure for 6 months, and who have had many posts written about them. They've been told about these by several other passengers.

We left them in Malaga on Saturday and, as they aren't members of Cruise Critic, they asked if we would say a big thank you, on their behalf, to the many people (passengers & crew) they have met over the months and who have been so kind to them. They have thoroughly enjoyed every minute - and every photo opportunity!!!

Now they are back home in Malaga, Adventure certainly won't be the same without them. All being well, they intend returning for a further 6 months in November of this year.

Very nice!

My wife and i were on the same cruise and i had a chance to chat with the older of the two, not sure of his name. We were in the pool and he felt it was so important to vacation as much as one could as we are here for a very short time. Very nice man. We saw them every night coming down the stairs at the 2nd seating in the MDR. Always a big hit.

I was curious, did they have a suite for the time they were on the ship?

Story is that they had a inside room on deck 10 untill the TA when they got a free upgrade to a balcony on deck 8. From what I was told these guys were not a big hit with the RCL crew and infact made RCL extend a contract of a head waiter who's job was to wait a the extrance of the dining room on deck 5 to escort them throught level 5 and then down the stairs to deck 3.

She had to be ready at 8.15pm and these guys would turn up at 8.50pm leaving her standing like a fool.
