Documents needed for boarding

This will be the first time we have taken our kids on a cruise they are 6 & 8. I am assuming all we need for them is there BC can it be a copy or does it have to be an orginal? My husband and I both have passports.

Original or "certified copy"

 

Just make sure it's not the cute little hospital "Record of Birth" or whatever your hospitals provide as momentos,,, with foot prints and stuff.
