Anyone know what may be delaying boarding at Portside on Sunday?

Friends of ours are leaving on the Pacific Sun on Sunday from Portside - they've just received notification from P&O not to arrive until a certain time (the same notice is on P&O's Facebook page under the cruise in their events section). They state it's due to "limited resources at Portside". Just was wondering if anyone knew why? Ship late? Limited staff due to long weekend?

 

Any suggestions?

QSHIPs is showing the normal arrival & departure times.

 

Maybe they're going to be short staffed at the terminal because of the long weekend and want to spread boarding out to make it more manageble.

That did cross my mind ... hopefully that's it! I'll allay the fears of our friends anyway that the ship isn't late!!

We got off this morning, and everything seemed to be okay, on time etc. There were people already checking in at 9 am, and the last passengers were still getting off.
