catamaran/snorkeling in san juan

All of the snorkeling catamarans sail from the eastern end of the island, about an hour's drive from San Juan. There are various companies that do this. All provide transportation from San Juan. This is an all day thing so you need a long port call if that's your case. In no particular order, the cats are:

Spread Eagle II (The Sailing Catamaran Spread Eagle, Inc.)

East Wind (East Island Excursions)

Barefoot (Castillo Watersports)

Salty Dog (Salty Dreams)

We usually do a catamaran excursion while we are in San Juan before our cruise. We have been on the Spread Eagle II and the East Wind. East Wind is our preference although they are both comparable. Priced around the same and they will pick you up at your hotel if you like. Then you can feel free to enjoy the rum punch all day long and not worry about driving back.
