Freedom all things spa

Recommended Posts

all I remember is that they were a lot more than land - based spa's but that's to be expected I suppose. Note that tips are not included in price.

i did get a manicure - "Fire and Ice" manicure.. it was $50, took less than an hour, and my polish chipped off within a day or so.

everyone in the spa area was really nice though.

Where is the steam room and sauna located on carnival freedom?

And why do the operators at carnival not know that they are free?

Thanks,

some operators at carnival have no clue about the product they are selling.

Some have never even been on a cruise.

google- carnival freedom deck plans

they are located in the spa

  • 1 year later...

Is there an age limit for the sauna and steam room? I am 19 and I saw the adult getaway was 21+. Also was is the proper etiquette in the sauna and steam, nude, swimming trunks or towel? And finally is it coed? I am on the freedom cruise liner I believe.

You should be fine. The free sauna/steam rooms are in the locker rooms so no coed and there was a recent discussion on the proper dress for them. I asked John Heald and was told "Proper Attire" which really cleared that up. If you are in the locker room I personally don't think it matters that much. You will probably find the showers in the locker room to be nicer than your cabin one.

Has anyone had their hair done at the spa for formal night and if so did they do a decent job? I too had the fire and ice manicure on the ecstasy a few years ago and was very disappointed that they booted me out of the salon before the Polish was done drying and it ended up being a mess when I bumped my fingers against a rail on the lido.

Thank you! And just wondering. Is there an age limit because I dont like when places dont have one and young kids are running around thru the locker rooms and saunas.

there is a posted age limit- i think its 18 and 16 with an adult.

you should not see little kids running thru the locker room

it is not coed- the males have their side the female their side. both enter using their own entrance.

I have never seen a nude person in there. Always wore a bathing suit

It is not crowded.
