Question about price drops

Recommended Posts

We are scheduled for our first cruise on the Paradise sailing May 28, 2012. I see lots of posts about getting OBC for price drops. Can you get those even after you've made your final payment? We booked through a travel agent and I believe, got a group rate. Does that matter?

Thanks in advance for any help.

ETA: One more question...how do I know if the TA booked the "funsaver rate"? We didn't pick our cabin so maybe this is the case? Also, is it not a good idea to switch to the funsaver rate this close to the cruise? I would hate to be stuck with a less than desirable room for $100 OBC.

If you did not pick your cabin, you probably did not book early saver rate.

You need to ask your TA what you booked. No one here can guess what you booked, you need to find out from your TA. (I would never book without knowing, but thats me)

Only early saver rate gets price drops after final payment, and you pick your cabin with that rate so its unlikely you are booked ES.
