Loading Luggage

Last year on Eclipse we were unable to load long 'suit' bags as the porters said they would get caught in the conveyor belts, so we carried them on. This year we have got a 'suit' bag that folds over on itself and has two outside clips to hold it together, anyone know if the porters will load this onto the belt?

I don't know why they told you that. My suit bag was taken and delivered with no problems at all. It makes no sense what the "porter" told you. My bags go on the airline conveyer belts without problems (no, not in a basket)

Anyway, if it is folded over, that makes it even more compact.

We've taken a fold-over suit bag, as you described, on both Celebrity and RCI with no issues.
