Carnival_Brides Posted May 11, 2012 #27 Share Posted May 11, 2012 So the Bay Bridge that connect Annapolis to the eastern shore has Pride going user at around 630? I've always wondered. I want to take the kids to Sandy Point to see it cruise on by one day. That's correct. We tried catching the Pride sailing under Key Bridge a couple weeks ago and missed it, so we drove down to Stevensville and watched it come under from the Eastern Shore side--I needed "personal photos" to have some postage printed. Safetyal Posted May 11, 2012 #28 Share Posted May 11, 2012 I could be wrong. But I remember something about the Conquest and New Orleans. That sometimes the ship had to be diverted to Mississippi if the tide was to high because of the bridge.
jojochef Posted May 11, 2012 #29 Share Posted May 11, 2012 I read that during high tide the QM2 will clear the Verrazano Bridge by 13 feet.
