Another "My Time Dining" question

My wife and I have just booked our first cruise on RCCL. Wester Med in August. We've only sailed Norwegian before. We were not able to get My Time Dining, but they put us on the wait list for it.

 

Anyone have any experience with being wait listed? Just would like to have a sense of my odds for getting it. The person I talked to at RCCL wouldn't venture even a smidgen of a guess.

My husband and I were on the wait list for MTD on our Serenade cruise last year. I went to the Main Dining Room after we boarded and had lunch. They have staff waiting there in case people wanted to change their dinner plans. I was able to change to MTD that day.

Sure did! Whatever dining time (early, late, or My Time) you have the first night remains the same for the duration of your cruise. :cool:

We were wait listed too and we had no trouble changing our late dining to MTD once we were onboard. And this was for our Jan 2012 Voyager of the Seas cruise so it was fairly recent.
