Caribbean Princess Today

Hi All

 

Caribbean Princess has made her first call into Scotland for the season today, OK so what, well after a week of bad weather, gales, rain, snow on the mountains,

 

today dead calm full sun, even saying its going to get warm this afternoon, then shortly after the Caribbean Princess sails the weather is all due to change back to cold and wet.

 

Can she not stay for a week or two, may be next Saturaday will be nice as she is backat Greenock

I'll be there next Saturday! I hope we have good weather. Our Greenock port stop will be so important to me - it's where my 3x great grandmother left from in 1846 to go to America. She was from the lowlands to the southeast of Glasgow. :)

Thanks - appreciate it. We have a private tour planned but a little different from the ordinary. I really want to see Bannockburn Battlefield. I am distantly related to Robert the Bruce and want to see his statue there.

Yes, we're doing Stirling Castle also, but I'm not sure when we'll be at any of the places especially since we're doing an itinerary that's out of the ordinary. Will look for Robert the Bruce's statue there too, thanks!
