Question Re Casino At Sea card...

...do I need to bring my old one(s) when obtaining a new card on the Jewel?

On the Sky, I turned in my Spirit card...guess I thought it would work on any NCL ship  and they told me the balance of points would be transferred...

Just hate to spend too much time signing up again and waiting around for a new card...although the free rum punch made waiting much easier :D

You will need to get a new one. Make sure you tell them what ship you were on last so they can email and transfer points.

Thanks...so I don't need the actual card from that cruise, just the info to give them ;)

My husband couldn't find his before our most recent trip. He just went to the casino gave his name and dob and they looked up his account and gave him a new card.

It sounds like they have the point total electronically stored. Tried to use my Spirit casino card on the Sky and it didn't work, so I will either bring the latest (Sky) card or do as your husband did above.

Thanks as always! Good to know what to expect, and I am ready to make some donations :p

There is no reason to bring your old cards. They will never work and a new one is required every cruise. As I posted earlier you need to tell them to get your points from the last ship you were on.

Your points do transfer from ship to ship but only for 12 or 18 months, my DW knows the rules.

They transfer up to 18 months. Once transferred the clock starts again. As long as you cruise at least once every 18 months you will never loose a point.

It took them 5 days to transfer points from my sept 2011 cruise on the star to the October 2011 cruise on the jewel. And then when they did transfer they said that I only had 2500 points. It took another day to get additional points because they never transferred from my epic cruise from 2011 either.

Whenever I come aboard I find my CAS card in my cabin with the drink card and welcome candy or cookies. Points have never been transferred. This time I am bringing my old card and requesting immediately the points to be transferred, and a copy of my 2011 win/loss statement from NCL.
