Balcony vs Concierge Class

Bear in mind the Balcony and the Concierge cabins are identical in layout and size. So what you have to weigh up is the extra price you pay for the following really worth it:

  • Flowers every day (nice touch but can get in the way)
  • Bowl of fruit (nice touch but you can pick up as much fruit as you want from the buffett)
  • Bottle of sparkly wine on arrival (nice touch but you can take two bottles of your own wine on board on embarkationd day)
  • Canapes - nice but do you really need them with all the other food available
  • Umbrella - Do we really want it to rain!
  • Binoculars - take your own
  • Choice of Pillows - to be honest I think they will bring you other choices if you ask even if in just a std balcony
  • Fluffier Bathrobe - nice but then the others are just as good too.

If theres not much difference in the price great. But then if its a couple of 100$ more then is it really worth it - you decide!

Well put B17. We only get CC room if the price is right. You do get extra Captains Club credit though. The binoculars look like they came out of a Cracker Jack box, not very useful especially for Alaska.

This is not true on M-Class ships. Conceirge and Aqua class cabins are larger than standard veranda cabins. It is true on S-Class ships.
