Another Question regarding Memorial day sale

Recommended Posts

I booked the ES and I checked with the memorial day sale (non past guest) and it shows upgraded to like rooms, for a Porthole room what would be like the like room and how is that an upgrade?? I dont qualify for any price drop since with the $50 taken off it's still more then what I paid but I wanted to know if i would qualify for a upgrade.

Thank you in advance. :)

The description i ndicates upgrades to "like categories" - if you book an interior you'll get a slightly higher interior upgrade, like 4A to 4B or 4C for example. If you book "porthole" categoryit has no "sub-categories like the other Interior, OceanView, Balcony and Suite Categories, so if you book a PortHole you get a Porthole. ken

I'm pretty sure you'd have to pay the difference between what you paid and the higher fare that includes the upgrade. The upgrade offer is for PAX booking at the new sale fare.

Our cabin for our October cruise is now up $90.00 under the ES rate and under the Memorial Day sale rate is $120.00 more. So, glad we booked ES when we did at this point. Always hoping for a lower price, but doesn't look like it this time.

I compared prices on my cruise on the regular website and then I clicked on the link on the e-mail they sent me and the price is higher on the

e-mail pricing-rip off!!

My inside on my B2B is considerably less. Going to call my PVP this morning. But the balcony across the hall is more than what I booked (at the casino VIP rate).

I honestly don't understand why people get all bent when a sale results in a higher price than they paid.

They can't drop all prices for all cruisers for all sailings for all categories for all fares!

And not everyone can or wants to book ES. Not everyone who cruises is a married couple who always sails together and won't possibly have any reason to change their sailing or their sailing partner.

So a sale for Past Guests does sometimes result in a lower fare than they ORIGINALLY paid. Or it may entice someone to book who was on the fence.

It isn't a rip-off. Good grief, people.

Sometimes it isn't just about CC posters and ES rates!!
