Transportation from hotel in Ft. Lauderdale

Hello. We are planning a wedding cruise in November. We are staying in the Crown Plaza in Ft. Lauderdale the night before the ship departs because we need to be at the pier by 1030 am for the wedding that day.

 

The cruise terminal is only like 2 miles from the hotel. But the hotel wants to charge an $8 shuttle service to the cruise terminal. I am just trying to find a more cost effective way to get there for people like my brother who have 5 children and it definately adds up.

Take a taxi. There will be taxis and taxi vans right at the hotel.

Best option is a taxi van.
