Wind, actual time on shore vs published arrival time at port

Hi.

We'll be on the NCL Wind for 10-day Hawaii cruise Aug. 24. There are the listed times for port of calls. But what time can you realistically be setting foot on shore to begin your excursions.

For example, Aug. 25 at Hilo it lists 9:30am - 5pm. I hope to take a helicoptor tour, then drive a rental van to the Volcano National Park. What time can I expect to be on shore to look for the shuttle bus to van rental or helipad?

Wind also docks at Nawiliwili at 8am - 5pm. I hope to take helitour then drive to Waimea Canyon (maybe back around to the north if time permits).

The Wind tenders at Lahaina (8am-9pm) and at Kailua-Kona (8am-5pm). We'll like to drive to Hana from Lahaina, and at Kona like to go scuba diving. So I hope to make good use of time at shore.

Has someone been on the Wind at Hawaii and can advise what time you actually get on shore vs the published times at port?

Also how is the Wind's record for port arrival times?

Thanks a lot.
