manda513 Posted May 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Not sure if this is the correct place so if it isn't can the MOD please move? I've tried to search the threads and google without much luck... When renting a car through the various rental agencies (Alamo, Hertz, exc.) that are located at MIA and provide transportation to and from the Port for their customers do you have to call the company to come pick you up once you arrive or do their shuttles just make regular rounds? Corby114 Posted May 17, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 17, 2012 At the conclusion of your cruise you will see the shuttle buses make stops at each pier. The shuttles will leave the Port of Miami and return to the Rental Car Center which is located directly across from Miami International Airport. Some shuttle drivers will ask to see your printed rental car reservation prior to entering the shuttle. This is done because some passengers are looking for free transportation back to Miami International Airport. I know personally that Alamo, Budget, National, and Thifty have free shuttles back to the Rental Car Center.
manda513 Posted May 17, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Ok. Thank you ! I think we will likely be going with Alamo. Wasn't sure if we would need to call them once we got off the boat or not. Thanks again for the info!
