MelV Posted May 17, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 17, 2012 So I am from Texas and our drink of choice is frozen margaritas. Where can I find a really good one on the Conquest? Also - are there any other margarita drinkers out there??

Also - are there any other margarita drinkers out there?? I've never had a bad Margarita on the Conquest or any ship. They make all the frozen drinks the same at all of the bars, so pick your preferred location. I actually prefer mine on the rocks with salt though. nlktx49 Posted May 17, 2012 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2012 Even though they are supposedly all made the same, a drink can be different from one bar to the next on a ship. My drink of choice is A Kiss on the Lips, and some bars make it better than others!
tada Posted May 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2012 Take my advice and have the bartender make you a custom margarita. Try this recipe: 1 oz fresh lime juice 1 oz orange juice 1 oz Grand Marnier or Cointreau 1-1/2 oz 100% blue agave tequila Have them shake it and pour it over ice. Your choice of a salted glass or not. It's the best Margarita ever. None of that sicky sweet mix or sweet and sour. Just plain good! P.S. Try it a home. You won't regret it. Here's another tip. You can buy bags of limes and oranges cheap at Costco or Sam's Club, squeeze them and fill ice trays with the juices and freeze them. Then you have one ounce servings of fresh lime and orange juice any time you want.
