Winery tours from Nice or Marseille?

Is a good question and we would suggest that Marseille would be the better of 2 ports for a wine tour. It takes about 1:15 to drive from Marseille to the heart of the Rhone Valley wine area (places such as Chateauneuf du Pape and Gigondas) which is a fabulous area for touring vineyards and tasting wine.

Search Provence Wine Tours. It leaves out of Marseilles. We're going the first week of June, so I'll let you know how it was when we get back. I emailed them and they added us to a tour scheduled by other people on our ship. I was really pleased by that, I'd been trying to find someone on our roll call but didn't have any takers.

I'd love to join a tour in Italy too but no luck so far.
