crazycath Posted May 3, 2005 #1 Share Posted May 3, 2005 I just got my room #, 5299. We are on the Upper Deck. Does anyone have pics of this room, or close to this room, and has anyone been in the back of the ship. Did you like it? Any problems? Does the balconey have a lounge chair? The symbols say it has a covertable sofa, does that mean the room is bigger then the normal rooms? We aren't going till Jan 2006 but I am very excited. Thanks in advance for your help Cathy
serene56 Posted May 3, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2005 You are located right across the hall from the laundry room. across the hall from 5268 is where it is. cabin is the same except its a differnt deck- http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/283577025xCvlQF balcony- http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/283578778xGRsek I dont see a lounge chair fitting out here but have heard that people do put them there. The two chairs that are out there do recline back though. A convertible sofa is one that makes into a bed. (not all sofas make to a bed.) The cabin is the same size as a regular balcony cabin. your view http://community.webshots.com/photo/231082601/283585957lnziFZ
crazycath Posted May 3, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted May 3, 2005 what great pictures, we are so excited, Is the laundry for the guests or the whole ship? Thanks Cathy
serene56 Posted May 3, 2005 #4 Share Posted May 3, 2005 Laundry room is for all cruise passengers-- there are several located around the whole ship. Each load of laundry will cost 5.00 total to wash/dry and that includes the detergent. (helps in packing lighter too) I have used the laundry room on the Miracle- went and threw the stuff in the washer then ate breakfast. by the time we were done the wash was ready for the dryer. The iron is located in that room too-- so you will be able to iron your stuff early before the room gets crowded...which it will on formal nights.
