Will I need an electrical converter for Montreal hotel?

Recommended Posts

Title says it all -- do I need a converter in Montreal? We are staying at the Le Westin Montreal.

Canada and the United States use the same Voltage/Frequency and electrical connectors. Assuming you're coming from the US, no you won't require anything special. That's assuming your appliances are able to speak French.

It would appear that you are from Kentucky, so no you will not need an electoral converter for anywhere in Canada. We use exactly the same plugs and outlets as used in the US.
