Upgrade prices

Recommended Posts

Hi

We are due to go on our cruise in September but are thinking of upgrading our cabin from inside to balcony.

We are awaiting to hear back from our travel agent for prices but do any of you know a roughly price on upgrade?

Thanks :)

If you go to any TA site or Carnival.com and pretend to book you should be able to view prices yourself. Why wait on a TA?

There is no set price. We would need to know what you actually paid, and what cabin you want to move to, and then we could do the math to subtract one from the other.

If you booked an Early saver fare and Early saver is no longer available for your cruise you will not be able to upgrade at the early Saver price for the balcony.

Go to http://www.carnival .com,click the carnival logo and do a fake booking for your cruise and choose the balcony you want, the booking engine will give you the price of the cabin, then do another fake booking for the cabin you already have, then just deduct the lower price from the higher price and you will know the upgrade price:)

Look for special promotions offered by Carnival during the fake booking posses ,if you choose Fun Saver Fare this is only a guarantee and you cannot choose your cabin location just the type, Balcony Inside Ocean view suite.

Call your T/A and tell them the upgrade price only after they give you their price;)

Some T/A,s buy Block cabins and sell at discounts,I noticed you are from Scotland so not all carnival rules apply to overseas guests,if your T/A is in Scotland you may already be on a group booking without even knowing it and upgrades may cost more than what is on the Carnival site because the T/A may have paid less than Carnivals price on the booking engine.
