jrose41 Posted May 21, 2012 #1 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Hello, We have a July cruise booked in Haven 2-bedroom villa and traveling with my 2-year old who loves to climb. I wanted to check if anyone knew if the balconies have that plexiglass so she can't try to climb. Do they come with it or do I request it? I have been checking out the videos on these rooms and it seems they all have that safety plexiglass which would be great and exactly what I want. We want to enjoy our balcony it is an Alaska cruise and I hear the views are spectacular but I want it to be safe for her. I would love to have breakfast on our balcony and she loves the ocean air! Thanks for any suggestions or advice.
LadyShiva Posted May 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted May 21, 2012 Honestly, the only people who go over balcony railings are drunk adults. Don't allow her out on the balcony alone, and keep a hand on your kid if you stand her up on a chair. Or show her the tub and let her stand in that and look out the window! :) Look at 0:09 on this video: The plexiglass is the railing on the Pearl. mommyto2girls Posted May 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted May 21, 2012 I agree with Lady Shiva..the tub or even standing in the shower makes for a great window view. There is plexiglass but the door should be locked when you are not with her.
