cannes to Monaco is train the only way??

Hi,I know the trains are regular and take about an hour.

My question is ,are there any water taxis/ferrys that take you there??

Am guessing a private hire taxi would be a fortune looking at what RCL charge for a private driver.

Train is the only practical mode. You could also rent a car and drive the Corniches, but I doubt the hassle is worth it. The train station is walkable from the tender landing and trains are frequent, clean, have electrical outlets for your notebook and, I suspect, wi-fi.

The train is the most practical method. There are public buses that can get you between the cities (with generally a change in Nice) but the bus will take much longer then the train. We often rent cars in the south of France and its actually a pretty easy drive between Cannes and Monte Carlo with the high speed Autostrade being the fast way (with tolls) or the coastal route being much more interesting (but also time consuming). As to hiring a taxi, you would darn near be buying the taxi since cabs in this part of France are very expensive.
