South Friar's Beach taxis

Hi,

Does anyone know how long it takes to get from S. Friar's Beach to Caribelle Batik? We plan to spend most of the day at the beach and hit Batik on the way back to the ship.

Also.....we're not prearranging any transportation. Are there plenty of taxis at the pier and also at S. Friar's Beach so that we don't need to worry about getting a ride back?

Thanks,

Gina

It takes about 35 mins to go from South Friar's to Caribelle Batik. South Friar's is 4 miles east of Port Zante and Caribelle Batik is approx 6 miles west of the port. Opposite directions. It would be best to go to Caribelle Batik first and then spend the rest of the day at the beach. There are lots of reliable taxis at Port Zante to take you where ever you want to go. In the arrivals hall there are taxi dispatchers who will sort a taxi for you. Arrange with your taxi driver the time you want to be collected from the beach and that saves you the worry about getting a ride back. The bars/restaurant will also call for a taxi if you forget.
