Car rentals near the port?

Will be in GC on the Disney Fantasy next month. We're not sure what we want to do while there though. We're also going to go to Costa Maya (probably will just use the pool at the port) and Cozumel (hubby said something about going to Paradise Beach) plus a beach day on the private island. Soooo, it'd be nice to do a land tour of the island. Not sure if it would be better to rent a car on our own, that way we can go & stop wherever we want. Or hire a tour driver???

 

Are there any car rental places right at the port?

Cayman Auto Rentals is the only car rental location within easy walking distance of the tender piers.

 

Several other companies have locations at the airport and/or along Seven Mile Beach. Many can arrange to pick you up near the port and transfer you to their office to complete the rental and get you on your way quickly.

 

Some local companies with great reputations include Andy's Car Rental, Coconut Car Rentals, Marshall's, as well as locally owned businesses with well-know brands affiliation such as Avis, Budget, and Thrifty.
