jmalstrom Posted May 5, 2005 #2 Share Posted May 5, 2005 It is always cold when cruising near glaciers. You have to pay a corkage fee for wine brought on board NCL ships. Yes! Almost all oceanview rooms are porthole on the Dream - definitely on deck 4.
DeepWaterMariner Posted May 8, 2005 #3 Share Posted May 8, 2005 We are also on the Dream for the 7/11 cruise. There is a threat in the NCL topic under Roll Calls for the cruise. The standard advice on clothing is dress in layers. We bring jeans, sweat shirts, a windbreaker as well as a heavy short sleeved polo shirt and generally use it all at one point or another. Last year it was fairly warm in Alaska but we had a very cold day in Skagway which got even colder when we took a tour which went up several thousand feet. Most days were very tolerable and a sweatshirt was too much.
