Alaska 10 day on the Dream

going on 7/11, should we pack cold weather clothes...do want to take wine for pre-dinner drinks in room, Carnival Cruises did not object will NCL??? are oceanview rooms really portholes on the Carribean deck??? any suggestions on best tours...:confused:

It is always cold when cruising near glaciers.

 

You have to pay a corkage fee for wine brought on board NCL ships.

 

Yes! Almost all oceanview rooms are porthole on the Dream - definitely on deck 4.

We are also on the Dream for the 7/11 cruise. There is a threat in the NCL topic under Roll Calls for the cruise.

 

The standard advice on clothing is dress in layers. We bring jeans, sweat shirts, a windbreaker as well as a heavy short sleeved polo shirt and generally use it all at one point or another. Last year it was fairly warm in Alaska but we had a very cold day in Skagway which got even colder when we took a tour which went up several thousand feet. Most days were very tolerable and a sweatshirt was too much.
