PolyBabe Posted June 3, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2012 Has anyone taken the train from Rome to the port? I won't be coming from the airport but from the city center, likely the main Terminal. It seems that there will be a shuttle from the station at the port to the entrance of where the ships will be. thanks for any information you can give me. Fair Winds! Trish There will be lots of replies to this....yes...we took the train and would do it again. Very cost effective if you can deal with your own luggage. There is a short walk from the train station to the port entrance where you catch the ship shuttle. The walk takes about 10 minutes. Taxis may be available if you wish. PolyBabe Posted June 12, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted June 12, 2012 thanks! Someone did respond under another thread and they said it was very easy and cost about 10-12 Euros each direction. So cannot wait until I leave next Wednesday. Trish
