JaneBP Posted June 6, 2012 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2012 We did see whales one day, however I don't remember which one, but think it was as we were leaving Lerwick. I wish T&T had not needed to leave early, I was and am still looking forward to meeting you both.

Tony & Trevor Posted June 7, 2012 #8 Share Posted June 7, 2012 JaneBP Hello Jane, Sorry also we did not meet up. We missed the CC get together and then after Edinburgh had to make plans to get off the ship! I think I read that you had quite bad weather. Any tips for the crossing? Kind regards Tony
JaneBP Posted June 7, 2012 #9 Share Posted June 7, 2012 If I am going to be tossing and turning, then I want to be on Seabourn, with movies and room service and a view of the waves. I am pleased that I do not suffer from motion sickness, and on the Sojourn, I was in 416, which while forward, was way low. I did need assistance getting places, since in some corridors there is a distinct lack of handrails. (Back entrance to MDR has artwork, no rails) However, a kind crew member was always available if I needed to get somewhere. I stayed put and enjoyed watching King Neptune and Mother Nature duke it out. But if you need medication, start it before the bouncing. That's the clue.
