how to get to monte carlo pier?

We are taking the Nice airport express to Monte Carlo for our cruise. The ship will be located at Hercule Floating Pier, New Jetty.

I have posted at several different spots, checked with TA and still do not know how to get from bus stop to the pier. The bus makes stops at Place d' Armes, Fontvielle, the Casino and Bay Hotel.

 

I read that there are elevators to take to the lower part where the pier is located. I need advice how to get to the pier pullling luggage. Is there local bus nearby that would drop us off?

I suggest you get off at a Hotel. The hotel can arrange a Taxi to bring you to cruise ship. When we were in Monte Carlo 2 years ago, there was a shortage of taxis, and we had to find a Hotel to order one. Monte Carlo is very spread out. The city is on a high cliff looking down on a huge port with hundreds of boats. Looking down from city, the right side of port towards the back is where the cruise ships dock. The left side of the port up the cliff is the Casino. It takes a good 20 minutes to walk from Casino to cruise port. If your ship leaves late, make sure you see all the yachts lit up at night. I have never seen this many yachts anywhere,

We docked at the pier near the Yacht Club de Monaco. There is also a water taxi from an area below the Casino. It winds through the harbor and drops you off at a pier near the docked ships. It's a bit hard to find. You take an elevator down from the area behind the casino. Then about 100-200 yards away is the small dock for the water taxi. I agree with the others. Get dropped off at a major hotel and get a taxi.
