Sushi

Haven't been on the GEM yet, but like most ships in the NCL fleet that we've sailed - there is usually a section devoted to Asian food in the buffet, including the basic sushi (vegetable) rolls, and, no extra charge.

Otherwise, within (called Chin Chin on the Gem) Pan Asian Fusion Restaurant - there's a Sushi & Sake Bar - pricing is a la carte now, but freshly hand made to your order by the sushi chef in front of you (basic selections for popular things like salmon and tuna, etc. as stocked on the ship) - popular for dinner & lunch (usually no reservations needed.)

Haven't seen any BOGO or Early Bird Specials lately, but it's nice for a change of venue, at a nominal charge (there's also teppanyaki, very popular & easily booked solid full.)
