El Faro Lighthouse & Jet Ski & Driver

Recommended Posts

Three Questions:

1) I've read on other sites that it is possible to climb to the top of the El Faro lighthouse ... Anyone know if that is true and how?

2) Is there anywhere to rent jet skis? If so, where/how much?

3) Is there a way to just hire a driver to take you to the Dzil ruins or lighthouse or anywhere like that when you get there?

Thanks,

Steph

Hello

1- yes, sometimes you can climb the lighthouse if you are not many at the same time (and its not because is a old one is because the staircase space in there is very narrow) and if the guard is there , when we did it we gave him some cash $5 to thanks

2- at progreso beach there is a guy that rents the jets well depend how long you want it 30min or more,

3- we (wife, 2 kids and me) hired carlos contact tunichnah @ hotmail. com he speaks very good english, he droves us to merida and cenote at dziblichaltun and back to progreso for a very fair price, ask him for free information

you wont be dissapointed

I reccomend him

have fun
