I am completely content with being a new VIPF. I have 20 cruises and 126 days. I really didn't expect more and what was cut back didn't bother me much. Cutbacks..........3 bags of laundry instead of unlimited (no biggie, we ususally send out 2-3 a cruise), buy 1, 1 free tournament entry (if you gamble in the casino like us, we ususally buy 2 entries each since they have several tournaments each cruise). Need to find out about the free drink for the comedy brunch or breakfast/lunch in the MDR.

 

What we really like has not been touched. THe stuff that really makes you feel special.... priority boarding, priority disembarkation, tendering and the pursers desk priority line. Hey, other cruisers look at you in all the above perks like "who to you think you are?"

 

Is anyone out there still feeling good about Carnival.

REALLY? You just had to add another one of these? You couldn't post on one of the other 500+ threads on this subject

Well, the other 500+ were not official, just supposition. It is now documented and part of Carnival's past guest program. I was not interested in commenting on something that had yet to be announced.
