VIFP for kids under 13

Hi!

Just wanted to ask if anyone else tried to enroll their kids under 13 in the new program? My daughters will be doing their first Carnival cruise in 2 weeks and it said I can't enroll anyone in their OWN account who is less than 13.

 

Can I piggy back them under my account? Or once they turn 13 will their past cruises count? I mean I know the "loyalty" program perks won't do much for minors, but if I was able to start them now to accumulate points...

 

Just figured I would do it if I could....Royal Caribbean allows kids to be in a "loyalty" program. NOT that I want to start a war among cruise lines and loyalty programs....just wondering if I am doing something wrong and if someone else can help me.
