PeaceLoveCruise Posted June 11, 2012 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2012 Is there a difference in size between a VF and a VA? HAL customer service just told me that all of the HC rooms are generally the same size. I don't believe it. Anyone?
xxoocruiser Posted June 11, 2012 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2012 Is there a difference in size between a VF and a VA? HAL customer service just told me that all of the HC rooms are generally the same size. I don't believe it. Anyone? Check out this link. Make certain you are viewing the Westerdam deck plans than click on deck and than go to the rfar right which displays the cabin schematics and scroll down to the bottom it will show you the Accessible cabin layouts. Based on the schematics it appears that the rooms may vary in size. For VA click on Navigation , Rotterdam Upper Verandah Decks. For VF click on Verandah Deck http://www.hollandamerica.com/main/DeckPlans.action?ship=we&deck=n&ref=1339457751477
PeaceLoveCruise Posted June 12, 2012 Author #3 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Thank you so much. It is hard to tell a little bit, but they appear to be very close in size. I think I read somewhere on here that the VA's are a little easier to maneuver with a chair/scooter (which we don't necessarily need on this voyage). Thanks again!
