Secret spots for Oasis?

Recommended Posts

The aft balconies are great for seeing shows in the Aqua Theater and even just for sitting in a quiet spot.

The Solarium Bistro is the best place to eat if you like healthy food but stay away from the turkey bacon for breakfast. It looks like rubber strips because they don't cook it correctly. Everything else is fantastic and the gazpacho at lunch is not to be missed.

The Solarium Bistro is also the best place to eat when you first board the ship.

Everyone raves about the Roast Beef sandwiches at the Park Cafe but I don't eat much beef so I didn't bother. It isn't a secret anymore and everyone tries to get there for their lunch as soon as they board so the place is packed. However, the Park Cafe is a great place to have lunch or snacks during the cruise and sitting in the park for lunch is wonderful.

On Oasis in December, 2011.

We had lunch the 1st day @ Solarium Bistro and were almost alone. Very nice and fresh food but hubby wanted more "bad things" as we were on vacation.

We also had 1st night dinner @ Solarium Cafe. There was a discount for MTD passengers and the menu and atmosphere were terrific.

The RB sandwich @ Park Cafe is VERY good. They also have salads that are prepared to order, dressed and chopped. Yummy! We would have liked to do that for dinner one night after returning from a shore day but they are not open at night. :(

We loved the dinner @ Chops. Unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't dine outdoors the night we chose. However, we had not made a reservation and had no problem in just showing up and taking our chances.

You can experience a lot if you go with an open mind.

Do check out those public balconies at the aft. Very pleasant and you can see the shows, too.
